Who: 3-D (DEATH-DEFYING DISCIPLESHIP) is the Trinity Community Church’s 6th-8th grade student ministry.
When: 3-D Large Group meets on Wednesday nights from 6:45-8:45 PM.
Our Mission: To make disciples of Jesus Christ who are motivated by His grace in becoming spiritually mature, both in terms of the individual believer and in terms of our youth group as a community of believers (Mt 28:18-20; 2 Tim 2:2; 2 Cor 5:14).
We seek to accomplish our mission through:
1. Intentionally building leader-student and leader-leader relationships that are Christ-centered.
2. Effective and relevant training in biblical knowledge and understanding.
3. Sound leadership development and ministry enhancement.
4. Creating opportunities for students and leaders to both serve and share their faith in Christ.
5. Providing a safe and comfortable atmosphere for students to encounter the living God, receive all that He has for them and to worship Him.
6. Initiating and maintaining open communication about 3-D, its goals and its events to the parents and families of students.
What you can expect from a night at 3-D Large Group:
A chance to hang-out and meet new people
Participating in some wacky games
Learning about further opportunities for fellowship and service
Being trained to grow in Christ through biblical tea
Occasions to ask tough questions and discuss your opinions
A chance to worship the living God through song
